Lightroom Desktop: Not showing me accurate description of my image

I have something weird happening in Lightroom. When I switch to an image, at first it appears brighter and I can see little flyaways and also my eyes are brighter. But then it cuts out those little highlights and it basically tries to help me I’m assuming by cutting out the clipped highlights or what it feels is to bright... however, I’d originally thought that if I download the image and post it it the image would have downloaded from the representation that it shows after it “helps” the image. But when I download and post, it gives the file with the highlights and flyaways that appears for a brief moment. Making me unable to actually edit it in Lightroom because it will not give me an accurate representation of what it is actually showing me.
 
Anyone know what’s going on?

Please go to Help>System Info… and get us the exact installed version number of your software.

I have the latest upgrade and am experiencing the same... I import my images and LR edits them before I touch them.  Who do I thank for ruining LR... will look for a second source and I am a professional photographer for over 20 years...

And while I am bitching what did you do with the reject selected photos button???  I really hate this version... whoever thought this up... thank you for ruining a great program and creating something new for us to learn...
