My Lightroom cc healing brush is not working. Any ideas how to fix it?
I finally resolved this problem. Resetting the preferences during restart did not work. But uninstalling and resetting the preferences during the uninstall and then restarting the computer and re-installing did work. It did glitch again and I had to repeat the process. But it seems to be sticking now. I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not, but I also uninstalled (and removed the preferences) an old version (2019) of Photoshop. Thank you all for your help with this.
Can you define "not working"? What happens when you try?
And also, can you please go to Help menu > System Info and get us your version number and operating system. Thanks

It just doesn't change anything. I can move the area that the program is trying to pull data from (for the correction) around, but it doesn't actually correct anything. It works just fine on my laptop, so I know what it is supposed to look like, but it is not working on my desktop.

A new version of Lightroom was released yesterday. Would you try updating your software and see if it fixes it?
(and it has some really cool new features!)
What's new in Lightroom
I just updated the software, but it did not fix the healing brush.
I think I am going to try uninstalling and reinstalling Lightroom CC. This won't affect my photos will it? I just don't want to lose them.
Do you have your Brush's Flow or Density Healing Brush's Opacity set to a very small value?

I uninstalled and reinstalled and it is still not working. Flow is 50. Density is 100.
You could try resetting your preferences:
A Preference File will survive a Lightroom update. Sometimes weird behavior is corrected/cured by resetting the preferences.
1. Close Lightroom.
2. Hold down [Alt/Opt]+[Shift] while restarting Lightroom.
3. Overwrite the Preferences when prompted by the dialog.
4. Close Lightroom.
5. Restart Lightroom.
Does the behavior continue after resetting the preferences?

I just reset the preferences, as recommended, and shut down and restarted Lightroom and the healing brush is still not working.
How can we improve?
