Lightroom Desktop: I can't add photos

When I open LR the "add photos" button is grey and nothing happen when I try to push it.

And when I click on "all my photos" I only have a black screen but it keep saying that I have 600 photos...

A lot of functions are unusable too. Did I miss something ?
I use Lightroom for a long time and I never had that problem before.

Thanks. What kind of subscription do you have? Specifically, is it paid directly to Adobe, through an App Store, or through a school/university?

What else might have changed on your computer recently, since it last worked?

Hi, I pay directly to Adobe but I don't think it is a problem with my subscription because lightroom works perfectly on my laptop (macbook pro) and I have all adobe package that works too.

I didn't do anything since it last worked. I didn't use it for a while since I recently open the app and it can not work. Then I did the update of adobe version but it is the same. I also try to uninstall and re install.

(sorry the capture is in french but I think you can see "add photos" in grey)

Your current subscription is an EDU subscription - obtained through an educational institution. It looks like this does not have services enabled - meaning that cloud-based storage is not provisioned for your account. You would need to speak to your school's admin to see if this can be enabled or purchase a subscription outside of your EDU's license.

@Rikk This comes up a lot... any chance of some in-app messaging for this scenario?
