Lightroom Desktop: GPS info lost when roundtripping to Photoshop
I choose a photo in Apple Photos 6.0, select Edit with > Adobe Photoshop 2021, do the edit and save the photo. > The edited image is still tagged with geo location data when it is saved back in Apple Photos.
I choose the same photo in Apple Photos 6.0, select Edit with > Adobe Lightroom, do the edit, export the photo, import the photo in Apple Photos. > The image does not contain any geo location data anymore.
In Lightroom, under "Info", the fields for Location, City, State/Province and Country are empty.
It's frustrating. Because I edited many photos already and just realised, that the location information gets lost. I like editing with lighroom, but if this software is not able to get all the meta data of a photo, then it is not a professional software for photo editing.

I think, I can not use "Edith with" of Apple Photos to edit the image in Lightroom, if I want to keep GPS data. The data gets lost during this process. Strange, that it works with Photoshop.
When I export the image in Apple Photos first, the data does not get lost in Lightroom when importing the photo.
Looks like I have to work this way. Alternatively, I import the photos on my iPhone to Lightroom and edit on mobile or desktop version.

@Ralph Haering You wrote: "but if this software is not able to get all the meta data of a photo, then it is not a professional software for photo editing." Correct. Photoshop is the Professional program for photo editing.
