Lightroom Desktop: Crashes on startup (Windows)

I have never been able to use Lightroom CC Desktop version. I updated to version 1.5 a few days ago. My problem still remains. I had similar problem with Lightroom Classic CC and Photoshop CC. That problem was solved by disabling GPU (AMD). This, however has not helped for Lightroom CC. Lightroom CC does not open, so there is no way to adjust preferences. I have included screenshot below. I have been sending crash reports to Adobe, no use. This is highly frustrating, to say the least!

HI guys, can someone help me as well. I have adobe lightroom and as a lot of people experience as well it crashes from the start. What can I do?

Start by going to Help>System Info... and getting us your installed Lightroom version number.

I looked it up and checked but it seems my graphic card should be working fine. So still not clear what I can do unfortunately

Hey, I'm having the same problem. Light Room Classic crashes immediately upon launch, with no screen present other than the error window. I'm on windows 10 with LRC version 9.3. I've updated drivers, restarted the computer, reinstalled LRC multiple times, Its rather frustrating at this point. Thank you!

Hey, I am facing this problem as well, same version of 9.3 of Lightroom Classic, crashing everytime when i opened it up, others adobe apps seems fine.

Graphics card driver is usually the most likely suspect, double check the manufacturer's website as windows update rarely has the latest. I'd do a clean install of the graphics driver, rather than just updating.

Also check whether you might have some anti-virus or security software getting in the way. 

Are you sending in Adobe crash reports, not just MS ones?
