Lightroom Desktop: Behavior when batch-setting titles in Info panel

What I expect to happen: Open the Info panel, select multiple images, enter the same title. The "Title" field should now show the same title for all selected images.

What happens instead: Sometimes this works, but more often, the title field says <Mixed>. Why? I just set them to all be the same. If I then inspect the individual photos to see what's different about them, I'll see something like the first three or four now have the correct title and the rest have no title, therefore "mixed."

So there is an occasional bug in batch-setting titles. I've seen similar happen when setting Location (but of course we want the current Location implementation to be replaced with proper geotagging so I expect that subsystem to be totally replaced).
