Lightroom CC: Will not save photos, error "Unexpected error performing command: bad argument 1 to 'stringByAppendingPathComponent' (string expected, got nil)"

When I click "Save to..." I get the error "Unexpected error performing command: bad argument 1 to 'stringByAppendingPathComponent' (string expected, got nil)"

I have tried rebooting, uninstalling and reinstalling, resetting preferences, changing default location for files. Nothing has worked.

Did you get a solution? I have the same problem and can no longer export pictures.

No, sorry to say. No-one responded here or by email, and I gave up and switched to Luminar. Much better experience, and much, much cheaper.

Hope you find the help you need.

Interesting to hear. Does Luminar let you work with Google drive directly, or even better: with Google photos directly? I a bit fed up with buggy Lightroom cc...

Had the same error. The path to "My Pictures" was set to a drive, which was not connected to my computer anymore... so setting the path of the Windows "My Pictures" folder to an existing path, resolved the error... strange
