Lightroom CC: Video stutters during playback

I love the new Lightroom CC, but it still seems like video performance is not where it needs to be. When playing back videos there is still persistent stuttering and dropped frames during playback, and this seems to happen at random (i.e., playing the same video twice will produce stuttering at different points in the video). Playing these video files in other programs or directly from the desktop does not produce this problem, so it does not appear to be a performance problem on my end.

Lightroom Desktop 2.3 was released today and contained a fix for this issue. Please update to 2.3 and verify that you are no longer seeing the issue. Thank you!

This occurs with version 3.4 with Quadro M500M discrete graphics on my ThinkPad P40. Other applications like Windows' own Movies & TV play video back fine when run on dGPU, but in Lightroom video playback stutters and eventually freezes.

Lightroom's own GPU settings seem to not to make a difference. The only workaround is to force Lightroom to use integrated GPU (from Windows Settings -> System -> Display -> Graphics Settings). This slows down the application startup time, however.

Here's my system info:
