Lightroom CC: There needs to be more "in-between" cloud storage tiers

I currently have an "all apps + 100GB of cloud storage" plan.  As far as I can tell, the next cheapest plan that upgrades beyond 100GB goes all the way to 1TB, but this more than triples the monthly cost and I am not willing to make that leap as I do not need 10x more storage than I have now, but I do need more.  I would really like to see some more intermediate storage tiers like 250 or 500GB at less of a cost increase.  (Take this as you will.)

Upgrading to 1TB should only be $9.99 a month or thereabouts. Where are you seeing it triple the monthly cost?

I am on a Student/Teacher Edition plan for all apps/100GB, which is exceedingly cheap, thankfully.  The same plan increased to 1TB is exactly 3X the cost of the current plan, and quite a lot more than $10 per month.  (So as not to make people crazy jealous, I'm not posting the exact educational pricing, but still, a 3x bump is more than I can justify spending just for cloud storage, since I could buy a 1TB external drive for not much more than the delta in price and it'll last a lot longer than a month.)
