Lightroom CC: Stops importing and is very slow

Same problem. Just imported 40 pictures and it frozen 3 times

Is it possible you could be running into low available disk space on your main hard drive?

More than enough space on both my drives. For me the problem started when I reached 300.000 imported images. I then made folders and albums to put the images in. That helped a bit. But now with more than 550.000 imported images its not imposible too import more.
Yesterday I had a new record on startup time of Lightroom. It took more than 20 minuttes.
It finealy startes and works normal and I get no error message. But if I switch view from an album back to All Photos it can take uptil 20 minuttes again before it loads the thumbnails.
I have done this with taskmanager running and it apears that the computer is doing nothing while Lighrroom hangs. No CPU, memory or disk load to speak of. The computer is ideling.

Where can I find a solution to my problems?

Yep me too... importing a wedding (4k plus images) used to take a couple of hours. Now I set aside a day! Lightroom is about to get binned for me, completely useless! Running solid iMac, loads of RAM, loads of TBs free! Get a grip Adobe!!!
