Hi Meinrad, welcome to the forum!

When you say the Info window, do you mean the overlaid text over the photo? Or the Metadata panel?

I'm not sure what you mean by "the assignment to the self-selected album".

sorry, my english is not good

Here are 2 pictures to show you what I mean

I added the image from the "notebook" to the album “Test”

it would be nice, if the name of the album  be displayed at points 1 and 2

So, you are saying that you would like to see the picture's Album name displayed on the image thumbnail and in the Info Panel, is that correct?

Hello!

Just remember that a Picture can belong to more than one album, question is which one(s) to display.
