Lightroom CC: Please add more sharing options: Twitter, Instagram, 500px, Google Photos, Flickr, etc

This probably could have gone in any conversation type except "praise," but -

The Facebook-only thing is just for a short time, and additional options will be available real soon now, right?

I mean, photography is a lot of fun and everything, but for a lot of us the real rewards come from the ability to share what we produce with others. This has suddenly become much harder than it was just yesterday.

That was not at all something I expected from a cloud-based product.

Which social sites would you particularly like to see integration with?

Most of the ones I listed, actually. If I had to put them in "importance to me" order, probably:
Google (I do the "local guide" thing, and was hoping to add older pictures)
500px
Instagram
Twitter
Flickr.

Realistically, I know that Instagram and Twitter are more likely to be on the fast end of the spectrum, with the others coming later, if at all. That's fine, any expansion would be good at this point.

Instagram may be a problem, since I don't think they have an API, but I could be wrong. The others are certainly popular options that I'd like to see too.

Yep. Instagram has no sharing API.

Why should this be a problem when you can publish to instagram from Lightroom Classic CC.

Twitter and Flickr would be my priority export destinations!

I'm actually amazed that Facebook is the only option; if there was only going to be I'd have thought it would have been Twitter (or actually Instagram before I read Victoria's comment re them not having an API!)

I would love to see integration with my PRINTER. That is how a lot of us share photos. I used to be able to print photos from what is now "Classic" in a minute or two for a 5 x 7. Now, I have to use Edit in Photoshop to print and it takes 15-20 minutes to print. An 8 x 10 took 40 minutes. Not really workable at all.

Print is a request I've heard a lot, but very few seem to be voting on the request, so you might like to do so. https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/printing-from-lightroom-cc-cloud

You know, quite frankly, if people need to vote to get basic functionality like printing then I despair at whoever is running this project. I've seen worse implemented product launches: the Sinclair C5, for example.

That's a bit harsh, I think. This is very good product at what it does. Features are going to start rolling out. If it's not for you, then you can stick to Classic like many others :-). I tend to agree that printing does seem like a weird omission!

"A very good product"? I have to disagree. Once again this evening, LR CC is showing me none of my pictures.

Sorry to hear you’re having problems and hope you get them sorted. We’ll agree to disagree.

I know it’s probably not much help and fit into your workflow, but the iOS apps do have the functionality to share to whatever services you have installed.

Lightroom CC on iOS can even print!

I can actually understand why printing is not there yet as printing high quality right now is an absolute disaster on the desktop and very user unfriendly as no driver is standardized and color management is quite flaky. If Adobe manages to do that right with a simple but powerful interface in the future I would be very pleasantly surprised.

Clients ask me all the time how to print. I have no idea. I use a RIP, and totally rely on it. I use Imageprint by Colorbyte Software. I can't imagine Adobe diving into that rabbit hole. Output is its own animal.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Export to Flickr in Lightroom CC.

In Lightroom CC I can only export photos to Facebook. More options like Flickr or Adobe Portfolio would be nice.

Yes, please. Any online platform should be able to plugin to Lightroom CC. Lightroom "Classic" CC even lets you do this. I'm confused as to why Adobe pushed this out the door with less online functionality than the non cloud version.
