Lightroom CC: No sync from iPad>Macbook

Hi guys,

I experience a problem while trying to sync 1800 photos I have flagged or rejected on my iPad: they don't show up on my desktop. I have Lightroom CC (cloud) installed on both my macbook and iPad, latest version.

All photos and edits do sync to my iPad, but when I use my iPad to select photos and flag or rate them, create albums or edit them in any other way, these changes do not sync back to my macbook.

I do (of course) use the same account to login on all devices. It is a Creative Cloud All Apps Annual plan (student edition)

Below you'll find the system info:
Lightroom macbook
Lightroom CC-versie: 1.5 [ 20180807-1548-54800d7 ] (Aug  8 2018)
Besturingssysteem: Mac OS 10
Versie besturingssysteem: 10.13 [6]

Lightroom mobile:
v. 3.4.0 F59BE2
iOS 11.4.1 (up to date)

Hope you can help! Would be really disappointing to go over all of these pics again!

Kind regards,

Anne

Anne, if you log into http://lightroom.adobe.com, and look at one of the images you flagged on your iPad, is the flag showing up there?

That will tell us where the data block might be located.

That would mean that they never made it from your iPad to the cloud and would explain why they haven't synced down to your Macbook. If you tap the Cloud icon in the upper right what is your status? Is syncing paused?  Have you double checked to make sure they are all logged into the same Adobe ID?

Just to be sure, I meant that changes I made on the iPad didn't make it to the web version, pics are there of course. So the sync problem is on the iPad.

According to Lightroom on the iPad, all files are synced. As indicated in my initial post, all software is logged in to the same Adobe ID.

I have tried to save the full sized pictures locally (on the iPad) instead of optimized versions. Didn't help the iPad to sync the changes I made to these pics.

Anne,

If you snap a photo with your iPad and import that in to the iPad's Lightroom app, does that photo sync up to the cloud or is it stuck like your flags and edits done on the iPad?

Have you upgrade our Lightroom version. Personally, for photos, I have iCloud disabled for Photos, so whatever I sync with iDevices and my MacBook Pro is done via the Adobe Cloud. for syncing error, you can see at iPad error Code 1671 here you might get help.

How do I download Lightroom to my MacBook?
Ludo chat is a fun game and you can invite friends to play with or team vs. team. It's difficult to find different Ludo teams or players with good skills.
