Lightroom CC: How do I email / share photos?

I use Lightroom CC to email my finished or edited photos to family and friends. I have not discovered a method to do so with this version of Lightroom.  This is a real problem.

I am not sure about LR CC since I find it an awful software. like many customers here have stated: it is a half-finished programme full of bugs.  Email works very well in Classic though.

I use the "share" option, i.e. I create an album, drop the pictures I want to send into that album, set it to be shared, then email the link to that album to family and friends. On receipt, the images can either be viewed on computer, tablet, phone, or can be downloaded (as full resolution jpegs) if you enable the download option.

I haven't needed to use email or dropbox or similar to share in years.

I have had to do the same, but this doesn't really help for sending individual photos, which I find i do need to do quite commonly. I have often resorted to editing in photoshop and doing it from there (from which i can also copy selected files to Photos if I wish).  Too many unnecessary steps.

I appreciate all the answers to the email question.  They are good alternatives to a problem that should be solved by Adobe.   What are we paying for. . .Adobe Elements 18 has done away with BluRay support.   What a shame since I have BlueRay players, writers and disks to be used by Elements to share and copy my photographs and movies. Adobe is attempting to over simplify.

I would think that Adobe would first need to know if there is a problem to solve, and I don't agree they're over simplifying. LRCC is version 1 of a new program, and obviously hasn't yet got all the features in the much more mature LR Classic (i.e. LR7). However, I understand that regular updates, with new features, will be planned, and that Adobe are looking to get feedback from the community on the relative importance of needed features. You've identified a feature that you need, if many more users feel the same way and vote for the request then that should help Adobe prioritise their development efforts.
