Lightroom CC: Auto keywords tool for pictures (Sensei)

The search function based on Sensei seems te be working great. Could we use that for auto keywording?

For my part, the keywords are not yet detailed enough to generalize the use in LR Classic. Or another solution, that they are complementary to the keywords added manually, to see two fields of search, it is still necessary to improve the searches in the languages other than English!

If you want auto-keywording added to LR 7 (Classic), please add your vote and constructive opinion to this topic:

I would find this incredibly useful too.

Based on my experience with the AnyVision plugin in Lightroom Classic (which uses the Google Vision API), you don't want auto-tagging to be enabled (sometimes dozens of tags, and many are erroneous).

What you probably do want, like me, is a way to see the tags that the Sensei AI associated with the image (sorted on highest to lowest % probability/accurateness) in the keywords panel. Adding them as manual tags (that also export) would be a matter of clicking on individual tags that are displayed the auto-generated tags.

Similar type of workflow can be found in the bookmarking tool Pinboard.in. When you add a link/bookmark it auto-suggest tags (based on what I believe is other people's manual tags), but the core idea is the same as what I have in mind as the most elegant solution.

Proposed features:
  • Auto-suggest of Sensei tags: Sensei ranks these 10-20 tags (based on matching score) highest for your image (click on them to add them to your own keywords)
  • Auto-complete of manual tags: Type Fo... and forest will already show since it was already used as tag for another image in your library.
We want Sensei to be our personal assistant and reduce our spend on non-editing(creative) tasks :)
