Why do you think there should be a ‘January 2020 release’? There isn’t a monthly update cycle, it’s more like two-monthly but updates are released when ready, not because of a certain date.

Well you're almost right, October was also missing in a month update period, didn't notice that. Thanks, I thought it's every month but our looks like it skipped a month in the past already.

I’m not ‘almost’ right. There is no monthly cycle, period. I did not look up all the dates, but Lightroom Classic 8.0 was released in October 2018 and Lightroom Classic 8.4 was released in August 2019. That should make it clear that there has never been a monthly cycle.

There were 10 releases in 2019. But on the photo you look like a Jedi so yeas, you are not almost right, you are absolutely right, 10 releases per year are exactly two-monthly, you are absolutely correct, my apologies.

2019 Updates:

February - Lightroom 2.2
April - Lightroom 2.2.1 (Minor update with some new camera support)
May - Lightroom 2.3
August - Lightroom 2.4
September - Lightroom 2.4.1 (Minor update with some bug fixes and new camera support)
November - Lightroom 3.0
December - Lightroom 3.1

That's 5 "regular" (single dot) releases, and two "minor" (double dot) releases in the calendar year. The gaps between regular updates varied between 1 and 3 months (average just over 2 months), so predicting when the next update is due based on the update history is probably a waste of time.

Yeah, I was just counting number of releases on apkpure website, 10 releases from 4.2 to 5.1. Didn't read exact dates or change logs whether it's big or small update thought. Now I know it's not a month cycle and that's what matters, I was checking the store for updates like ten times a day :D
