Gradient is inverted

The radial gradient works opposite the way it is described in the tutorial.   With "inverted" unchecked, changes affect the interior of the oval.  With "inverted" checked, changes affec the exterior of the oval.  Same thing with the linear gradient.

I'm using 20181211-1217-31970e4 on Safari 12.0.2 on a MacBook Air

Yes, that is correct. This is an inconsistency compared with Lightroom Classic, where 'invert' changes the effect to the inside of the oval. Perhaps the tutorial was written with Lr Classic in mind.

Ahh, thank you.  I'm in the confusion of learning a new app.
