Win10 Creators Update problem?

I've just updated Win10 to the preview of the forthcoming Creators Update version. LR and PS seem to run fine, but the Adobe CC Desktop won't run. It just produces a white dialog with the circle of bars continually turning.

Anyone else see this?

What build of Win10 Creator are you running? I am on 15058 and not seeing this issue. I'll update to 15063 over the weekend.

Sorry Bob, I can't reproduce the problem on 15063 either. Have you tried downloading it and reinstalling?

There was a recent CC App update, maybe that's it.

Maybe. I was using a version from 119 days ago and that was working. The last update was 3 days ago which is after this thread. Both worked for me. Although the latest update incremented the major version from 3.x to 4.x (4.0.1.188) and does seem to reference Win10 functionality. Honestly, I have seen the desktop app fail many times over the years.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Windows 10 update Broke Elements 12.

Recently Windows 10 performed an update. Today I tried to use Elements 12 for the first time since the update. The program opens, top menus are displayed, but there are no drop down menus. Also some of the icons flash oddly. Program has become unusable. I tried deleting and reinstalling, it got slightly better, but still unusable. I haven't tried to run Premiere Elements but suspect i will get the same result.
