upgrade / switch from Lightroom CC to Lightroom classic

Using Lightroom creative cloud and missing options like setting the dpi to 300 - it is only possible 240. no option to adjust this. Also no watermark options... So i thought i may switch to LR Classic - well, it is outragous what they ask, if you have an existing subscription.... a new plan is $ 9,99 p.m. if i upgrade mine, it is more than 20!!! Is that really serious?

DPI is essentially meaningless, you can set it when you print. There are more important reasons to return to Classic.

My subscription includes both for $9.99 but with just the basic cloud storage.

where do you get $20/mo?   What you want to do is switch to the $9.99 Photographers plan which includes both LR Cloudy and LR Classic (Photoshop also).  However, your cloud disk space will be 20gb rather than 1tb if you currently have the LR plan.

However, once you get all your original photos onto your local hard drives, you can delete them from the LR Cloud and get all the storage space back.  Then if you do want those images available to the Cloud apps, sync them to the cloud from classic.  This will add "smart previews" to the cloud and those don't count against your 20gb or storage.

So, if the $20/mo is needed because you have more than 20gb of images, you may only need it for 1 month while you do the above after which you can go back to a $9.99 plan.  There may be other nuances that others may be able to share about what happens when you reduce your paid storage to less than the amount you are using.

While not this issue, I have also found their support to be excellent.
