Since the conversion to Lightroom 2015.6, my import function only works for SD cards.

Previously, in the import dialog, my iPhone and iPad would show up in devices and display the boxes of photos in the grid display.  Now they appear as devices but the boxes of photos are blank.  There is nothing to select.  They are not even greyed out like suspected duplicates would be.

What can I do to fix this?  Nothing else has changed, leads, Mac OS version etc across this period so it must be Lightroom.

Thanks a lot, I have already reset my preferences a number of times and the iPhone or iPad may show pictures but only until you click somewhere else.  Then when you return, they are gone again.  If I delete my catalogue, do I not lose all of my work?

I have 35,000+ images so I'm really uncomfortable about deleting a catalogue. I would lose all my edits.

Don't believe everything you read on the internet... no, definitely don't delete you catalog.

You mentioned that sometimes the iPhone/iPad may show the pictures and then you click elsewhere and they disappear... tell us more about that?

Thanks Victoria
If I hold option and shift whilst logging on to reset the preferences (I'm on a Mac) then the iPhone or iPad will appear in devices and photos will show.  If you click on another device and then click back to the iPhone or iPad then no photos show until you reset your preferences again.  Annoying as I import a lot daily through this route.

Very frustrating Kathy. I'll try to reproduce it here, but in the meantime, you might want to roll back to 2015.5 http://www.lightroomqueen.com/how-do-i-roll-back-to-lightroom-2015-1-1-or-lightroom-6-1-1/

Thanks Victoria, I've been importing onto my hard drive and importing from there which is a little long winded but does work.
