LLR 4.1 Beta Email Photo Issue/Outlook
Tested the email photos from the file menu for LR4.1 RC beta today and while the system did prompt an outlook email message screen. Once we hit send there was nothing in the sent mail box and nothing at the recipient address. Used the email to hard drive instead.

The mechanism that is used to bring up the Outlook compose window does not save the email in the Sent folder. This may be a function of how Outlook is called, or something Outlook is doing when called in this manner.
But the email does arrive. Check the spam folder at the destination mailer.
You can also create a custom export preset that talks directly to the SMTP server of your choice. So you might be able to use (for example) the SMTP connector that backs Outlook, or your provider's SMTP server, or Gmail.
If you use Gmail (and have a Gmail account) it saves your outgoing message there.

Tried this again and it worked (win7 outlook 10). Not sure what happened the first time.
Just another note on the email interface. When entering mulitple recipients it might be helpful to just add to the top of the interface to separate by semicolon which does work. If you use a comma you get a prompt stating that they are not in the address book. Could be confusing to some. MIght be something to look at.
Thanks again for the response.
