Not a problem
Lightroom: Your computer does not appear to be connected to the internet
When I try to sign in to my Lightroom account in the upper left hand panel "Get started with Lightroom Mobile," a white box appears in the middle of Lightroom with four moving squares. After a few minutes it says "Your computer does not appear to be connected to the internet." I know it is indeed connected to the internet because I can do everything else on the internet. I've tried rebooting the computer, relogging in to my Adobe CC account, updating to the latest version of Lightroom. Nothing works. I still can't synch to Lightroom Mobile.

1) Is there any proxy setting ?
You can check this under: Preferences -> Network
2) Try to quit and relaunch, if this does not work, try signing out and signing in back
Thanks,
Arjun

Good morning,
The boxes under Preferences>>Network are both blank. But then, I don't remember ever having anything in those boxes. I am working from home and don't remember ever needing a proxy for Lightroom. I, frankly, don't even know what to put in these boxes for a home network.
I tried the procedure suggested here and it seemed to work after I rebooted:

Right now, I can synch with LR Mobile again. Hopefully, it will keep working. Thanks for your help and quick response so early on a Monday morning.

1) Are you using WiFi or a LAN cable for accessing internet from your system ?
2) In that case, if you just open map and search for a place does the "waiting for connection" disappear (without GPS mapping) ?
Thanks,
Arjun

Sorry that I didn't reply sooner but I've been busy on other things. Right now, the Lightroom is syncing, so I was not able to try your suggestion above. I am working via WiFi and my computer is about 25 feet from the router and has a super strong signal. Everything else seems to be working fine on my WiFi.
If I have troubles again, I'll try your suggestion and reply to the thread.

I'm back again. LR is stuck at waiting for connection again. Loading the map module does not seem to work this time either. I'm still looking for suggestions about how to resume syncing.
