Lightroom: Why does LrHttp.get add Content-Type=text/plain explicitly to the headers ???

Dear Photoshop Family Team,

Why does LrHttp.get add Content-Type=text/plain explicitly to the headers ???
I'm not just curious about my subject,- this is really serious as far as it breaks an idea of Live SkyDrive plugin development.
When I make a very simple call to Windows Live REST API via LrHttp.get I always get error response from Live services API
saying that Content-Type header is not expected with http "GET" verb! And, yes, IMHO people from MS are right: what is a reason to
add such a header if HTTP GET doesn't imply request-body ? Because, I'm about to consider this as a bug. If there is any workaround for this issue, please share it with me.

Thanks.

The only workaround I know is to use a proxy app.

Meaning you don't know how to use a proxy app, or there are constraints that prohibit it, or you just wish you didn't have to...?

Do you propose to create (or use) another application like http-client and invoke it from lightroom? Well, I was thinking about this many times. So, I "wish I didn't have to..." :) It will only complicate application, decrease reliability and robustness and I cannot ensure its compatibility on all platforms (I'm neither mac-user nor mac-developer). I planned to spend much more time on general look&feel and usability of plugin, but not for such a pain ... Thanks for suggestion, anyway!

Would really appreciate this bug being fixed.

Or at the very least a work around that is not platform specific.
