Lightroom SDK: Custom Metadata - CR/LF ignored when readOnly=true

Custom Metadata - CR/LF ignored when readOnly=true, making for a single long line, and when text fields are very long it really makes Lightroom crazy (spinning blue donut...).

if readOnly = false, lines are broken at CR/LF as they should be, and all is well.

Unfortunately, if one sets readOnly=false, it gives the false impression that the metadata is editable...

Please make a new line when CR/LF encountered in read-only metadata text - thanks.
