Lightroom: Review Queue for images
As someone who can sometimes be forgetful, or even busy I sometimes import batches of images to lightroom and dont have time to tag them or even forget. As it currently stands I believe lightroom could use improvement when it comes to tagging photos for our catalogs. This can easily be remedied by the addition of a tab "Review" which shows you an imported picture that has yet to be tagged or anything. This tab would present you all the information fields one can fill out. with the addition of a delete button and a next button. This would facilitate going back and tagging at a later time because it takes the guess work of figuring out what has been done. In addition this is especially useful for those of us who occasionally find our old drives or cards which are loaded with old photos.

- In the import dialog under "File Handling", check the "Add to Collection" checkbox and select any existing collection or create a new one. For example, one named "To Review".
- In the import dialog, under "Apply During Import", add a keyword such as "Review" or use a metadata template to stamp new photos with some other metadata that tells you that they need review.
Finally, you can create a Smart Collection that always shows any photos that have no keywords, ratings, flags, and/or other metadata. When you're done reviewing the new photos, remove that keyword/flag/metadata that indicates the need to review.
