I dont use geotagging, but If I did, I know I would want this!

Somethings are not with Adobe's gift to provide. For example, necessary APIs may not be available or they may have use restrictions that preclude their use in certain types of application.

I like this, I would also like to be able to input GPS co-ordinates into metadata in Lightroom. For example: I have a GPS unit on my camera which doesn't work inside buildings but having the ability to copy the data from a file taken outside and paste it into the inside shots would be great.

would love ability to geotag within lightroom directly using standard files -> KML or GPX at least
Geotagging should also take into account image direction (some software do that : geosetter, and even some camera : GPS sold for NIKON SLR have this ability and the last rugged compact from Olympus has it as well ) especially when you want to export the image in a 3D mapping soft such as google earth.

Pentax has a GPS unit for DSLR that write down the direction as well, now.

This is another example of how LR would be greatly enhanced with more robust and comprehensive access and editing of photo metadata.
