Lightroom: Map Module - add values to GPS metadata when adding an image to the map

I have been using Lightroom 4 Beta for a month now and one of the module that I was edited was Maps. I have quite a few number of images before I had a GPS unit on my cameras so the ability to geotag these photos in postproduction is an important feature. Although I can locate the "photo location" easily on the given map there is no option to tag it so that it values are entered into GPS metadata, which by the way, in Aperture and iPhoto you are able to do. It would be nice feature to have so when the marker on the map is properly placed you either click+modifier key or select that from menu (les preferable) would enter the value into GPS metadata.
Thank you William

You can do this in LR: In then filmstrip, select one or more photos. Then point the tip of the mouse cursor to the desired location on the map, right-click and select Add GPS Location To Selected Photos.

In the Metadata panel on the right, select the Location metadata set from the drop-down menu, and you can see that LR has set the photo's GPS location to where you clicked. Do Photo > Save Metadata To File to ensure it's actually written to the file.

Or simply drag and drop image(s) from the filmstrip onto the map.
