Lightroom: Make Keywords Visible in Shared Lightroom Web Albums
Keywords added to photos inside LR Classic or Lightroom Desktop app albums appear on the Web at lightroom.adobe.com, but when the album is shared they are no longer visible at the share link. Not sure if I need to make this a request or a problem because I thought this was supported in earlier LR versions.

They haven't responded to me yet about this, but I'm hoping it's a bug/oversight which will be corrected in due course. It wouldn't hurt to list your post as a problem!

This issue has been brought up before and ignored so I created an account in an effort to bring this up again: I use the tags/keywords in Lightroom CC to sort my pictures into useful categories, and I see no reason why I should not be able to provide that same luxury for anyone viewing my photos if I am so inclined.
Even when enabling metadata viewing for online albums, the keywords are still hidden. At the very least, it would be nice to just VIEW the star rating and the tags, but I don't see any reason why the filtering features that have already been integrated into Lightroom web could not also be used with shared albums. Filtering by tags (multiple selection) and star ratings would give Lightroom users incentive to stay within the Lightroom ecosystem for publishing their work instead of using it merely as a sorting tool to later upload to Facebook or Flickr.
If this is something the Lightroom team doesn't have interest in pursuing, it would also be very welcomed in Adobe Portfolios, along with integration of basic metadata information.

I just want ANY shared album regardless of whether it's public or a private invite to show keywords that have been assigned to the photos. Of course 'Show Metadata' would have to be checked when creating the share link, but as it is now with that checked keywords are not visible. This worked up until 8-12 months when Adobe made changes to allow editing keywords in LR Mobile and Web apps. I am simply requesting that the previous visibility of keywords be restored to shared albums.
"I wouldn't want all my keywords shown to the world."
If you don't want users to see your keywords simply uncheck 'Show Metadata' in the Share & Invite options panel. There's no need to remove keyword support from shared albums to accomplish that objective.
What really surprised me is that very few people have complained and there are only five 'Me Toos' for this request. Why? Do you use keywords? Do you want users you share albums with to be able to see those keywords you've so diligently entered? Keywords are an essential component of digital asset management. Enough said!

I'm also shocked to see this feature disappear - one the most useful features in my circle of family, friends and clients is the ability to filter down to specific meta-items like 'street art' 'mural' 'commissioned' ' wheat paste' <artist name > < group name > etc. - kinda critical in a sea of content/art - albums are too broad of a categorization. Maybe it's just the scope and content I'm sharing that makes this missing feature so baffling to me but I assume everyone reached a scale where the basic ability to filter in slice content in not really a nichy "power user" type of feature - it's a fundamentally usefully feature.
Thank you all for pursing this

Alex, it's been over a year since this request was marked as 'Under Consideration. Any update on getting this implemented? Thank you.
