Lightroom: Import error on disk space, but images are delete and not imported
Ok i'm on a macbook pro and my images are stored on a nas, while doing an import i used the option move images. During the import lightroom told my it was out of disk space on my nas (it is not but could happend with network issue). So my import was not completed, but lightroom deleted al the files from source disk.
Does lightroom have a fallback local storage for import or is there a way that i can get my images back? A little panic here...
Thanks for all your help.
all the best, gerald

I suggest in the future you stop using the Move option in favor of the Copy option.

Agree with JSM. In the future, never use Move, use Copy and after you verify they all were transferred to the new location then delete them from the source. This isn't just good practice for LR but for any program or O/S. The only exception is if you're moving files from one location to another on the same device. In that case the O/S really never moves the files. It only updates the file table to make it look like the files have been moved. Like when you drag a folder or pictures in LR to a new folder.

Thanks all for the support, and the best news my images are indeed copied to my NAS but not imported in LF.
Lesson learned: NEVER USE THE MOVE OPTIONS DURING IMPORT TO LF. (it will save you some grey hairs :) )
