Lightroom: How do I delete a photo in CC and NOT delete them in Classic

I think that if you first create/choose a collection on the iPad, then import, that the raws will arrive in that collection. In Classic, there is an important preference for where it imports - ie into which folder.

So that message needs to be read between the lines. Classic isn't mentioned, so deletion doesn't affect it.

And also I've seen this super essential pref in the sync settings of Classic.

I've been experimenting the lasdt 30min and found out this:
- If an original exists in the Catalog that gets synced in Classic, the photo worked out on iPad becomes a V.Copy. I'd say that's a good point, as it prevents duplicates and allows to work on iPad on the go, and get it back on Classic Desktop. YET, and i've just checked out, if you re-work that image on iPad, the changes will reflect again on the Classic Vcopy. So, linked once, linked for ever. I think it goes even backwars, so changes that are made on that Vcopy in Classic reflect everywhere.
So, a solution would be to be able to make Vcopioes on LRCC. But again, that'd mean we can have control on what we sync. Otherwise, it's all foam that is aimed at attracting amateurs...

- A for the deletion, it's iondeed not deleting on Classic/Desktop after import.It's gone from the "All Synced Photo" coll, but that's ok... This makes sense.

- Now I'll be telling the worse..: that I just found out. It seems all this LR CC is completely useless, as in that Vcopy that landed in Classic, it has just taken the "Adobe Standart" as color profile, without asking anything. ON the ipad (and on Desktop LRCC) it does look nicely soft, ad a raw is. So my adjustments are giving a far too forced effect after landing on Classic, as it assume the standard profile.  And since I sue a custom made import profile to match what I see on my Nikon camera screen, it'll never be correct. Re-importing or changin prfile afterwarss will never give you the results you see on iPad versions.. especially since on the iPad, you don't even know which profile LRCC assumes.
So, ok, thanks Adobe, ncie try, but basically I see LRCC as a jpeg editor for fast editing and sending on social media... I REALLY hope you also think of photographers that work not only to post things on FBook.

And even worse, deleting in Classic also deletes the photo on iPad (or any other synced devices/versions of LRCC) which also means LRCC on Desktop.
It's clear Adobe has adopted the Apple way of handling files, kinda forcing people to have ALL their zillions of selfies/photos/songs/videos... on ALL their devices... meaning they have to buy loads of Coud space, new income source for the big guys...

Syncing is not made for us, it's made for them...

Guys, I'm really sad to see the way creativity app are going. Adobe, I was a FCPro editor (for major TVchannels) and you got me into PPro. Still like it... but that move made me also appreciate your different approoach to pro apps, let down by Apple. Well, now, seeing what you guys do with LRCC andClassic, I'm fearing the worse. Please don't disppoint pro. Do things for amateurs, new-o-the field people, sure!! Sure!! But not at the cost of pro apps! Thx!

I doubt these aspects are going to change, you're not going to get to choose which collections to sync, and it's another advantage for working with a single catalogue. You'll need to adapt ;)
