Lightroom crashing on a new computer

Question

Hi all, my husband and I recently purchased a new computer. I downloaded creative cloud and from there downloaded lightroom classic CC, photoshop, and bridge. Bridge and photoshop work great however, lightroom crashes within 10 seconds of being open. I've done the troubleshooting that I can but really not sure where to go now.

Please try to update your gpu driver(Display driver).
If this will not help then can you please turn off GPU in Lightroom Preference tab. (On win go to edit->Preference->performance tab and turn off GPU check box and on mac click Lightroom Menu->Preference->performance tab and turn off GPU check box ) .
