Lightroom Classic: Z6 Camera Tether issue

Question

Hi AdobeI cannot do tether capture using my nikon Z6 in my latest update LR Classic 9.4. According to the adobe support staff, it is due to nikon Z6 has not been supported by CAMERA RAW. Is it true? If yes, it's a pity because nikon z series have been in the market for almost 2 years. And I can do tether capture using other software and it is FREE!!! So, please Adobe, add Nikon Z series to the CAMERA RAW, so I can fully utilize my LR that I have to pay every month. Or, will you suggest I use other software?Thank youTatag

Camera raw and LR have supported the Z6 since about two weeks after its release.  The tethering function isn’t part of either.

Hi MarcThank you. It means that the Adobe support didn't understand at all the issues.So, why my nikon z6 cannot tether capture using LR? It worked for 5 - 10 pics, but then error. Even LR suddenly cannot detect the camera.Then, I tried tether my D7200 and it work very well. I tried tether using digicam Control and Capture One and they worked also.

Hi,When the Tether bar doesn't detect Nikon Z6, does the Import window detect it?After connecting the camera, select Import and see if the camera is detected.Thanks,Sunil

Hi SunilYes, the window detect the camera. I already check it in the window explorer and also using other program without disconnect the tether cable to ensure there is no issue on cable and also USB port.ThanksTatag
