Lightroom Classic: Way to Search unconfirmed faces?
I just ran facial recognition on 50k images. Not sure when I'll be able to get through all of them to 'confirm' all the suggested names. Is there a way to search on unconfirmed names, like "Bob?" or "Mary?" or would I have to confirm names before they become searchable?

You can follow the "Confirm name suggestions" section in https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/face-recognition.html#Tagimages to find similar faces to the confirmed ones. Or in general, you can right-click (or ctrl+click on mac) on any face (or face stack, confirmed or not) and invoke "Find Similar Faces..." from the context menu.
Once the similar faces are sorted, you can multi-select faces either to confirm or tag them.
This is also one way to search for similar faces without explicitly tag/confirm them.

It would be great if the results of a text search would include unconfirmed faces. For example; you can search for the (confirmed) name "John". However, since John has been identified by Lightroom with great accuracy it would be great to be able to get the unconfirmed names in the results by searching for "John?". This could be implement easily implemented by actually * tagging * the tentative names with name + "?". The question mark would indicate the name is unconfirmed.
If you want to find all pictures of John, confirmed and unconfirmed, you would search [contains all] "John John?" in the search box.
