Lightroom Classic v7.01 - No longer able to select local brush adjustments to save in a develop preset!?

I just upgraded to the newest version of Lightroom Classic and noticed that I am no longer able to select local brush adjustments to save with my Develop preset.  Why? When will this be corrected?

A couple of things first:

1. What operating system and version are you using?
2. Go to Help>System Info... and retrieve the exact version of Lightroom you have installed.

I just looked at CC2015.14 and Lightroom 7.2  and both show Radial and Graduated as the only local adjustments saveable in a preset. Adjustment Brushes are not available to save as a preset in either the current version or the previous version. I don't recall their ever being available in a saved preset.

Normally you have to sync a brush adjustment from image to image by selecting both images with the brush stroke being on the Active image and then using the [Sync] button at the bottom of the Develop tools it will pop a window that allows you to choose the brush stroke.

Windows 10 business edition, Lighroom Classic CC 7.2

It may have nothing to do with the current update.  However, I have a whole set of Develop presets that I purchased that add brush pins to my images, and now that I've learned how to make my own, it seems the option is not there - could have sworn I had seen it there in the past.

Any idea now many versions of Lightroom ago that was? I checked 6.x/CC2015.x and Classic CC 7.x and neither of them appear to have the functionality on my Windows 10 system. I also checked Mac 10.13.3 and it doesn't that capability either.

Just asking but is it possible they are not brush strokes but Radial Graduated Filters?

Who was the supplier of the presets? Do you have a link you could share?

I purchased the Accent effects on March 3rd, which still work with my current Lightroom Classic CC 7.2

While LR has never allowed you to save brush adjustments in a preset via the user interface, you can manually edit a preset in a text editor to add brush adjustments.  See this recipe:

The recipe previously posted for adding adjustment-brush settings to a preset no longer works in LR 7.3 and later, since 7.3 uses a different format for storing presets.  However, I just released the free Fix Presets plugin that will add the adjustment-brush settings from the currently selected photo to an existing preset.

The plugin also provides workarounds for a number of other develop preset issues.
