Export Settings:

Nothing looks amiss here.  Just to be sure your preference file isn't corrupt, let's attempt a reset. 

Reset Procedure:

1. Close Lightroom.
2. Hold down [Alt/Opt]+[Shift] while restarting Lightroom. 
3. Overwrite the Preferences when prompted by the dialog.
4. Close Lightroom.
5. Restart Lightroom.

After performing the reset, attempt an export of a raw file with severe noise reduction again and let me know the results. 

ok I did it but it doesn't work. The noise reduction is not there on the exported jpeg.
Is it normal that all the treatlent settings are still there when I open the catalog? (after the reset)


Do you think I should update the firmware to  1.0.3?

If you export to another format, Tiff for example, do the noise reduction setting show up?

I just tried with Tiff but it's the same result. Noise reduction seems not applying, it's very noisy even with +100 luminance

Are you sure you looked at the right exported JPEG/TIFF?

yes sure, I put the tiff and jpeg on the desktop (almost empty).

I just updated the firmware to 1.0.3

Does the noise reduction previewed correctly on screen in Lightroom? Would you be able to share a sample cr2 file with the xmp sidecar file?

Yes the noise reduction preview is nice in Lightroom. But after the export, it is really bad,.. (there is no noise reduction).  How can I share the file (I'd like to share the cr2, and the exported jpeg). Wetransfer or a similar tool?

When you're viewing the noise reduction in Lightroom, are you zoomed into 1:1 view? The Fit view isn't perfectly accurate, especially when viewing high noise reduction values.

I think a preview of what you're seing before(what you see in lighroom), and after(exported file), may help. Also, are you using smart previews? The only reason I'm asking is because smart previews tend to render different results in LR because of their limited dimension i.e. noise reduction can appear differently on such images

if I zoom to 1:1, the pictures are not really nice,...  that not normal. It was ok with my very very old eos 450d when I used lightroom ,..

Now I have a problem to export to DNG, my develop module is now disabled,..

I'll try to take new pictures after the firmware upgrade.

Your LR System information is showing as a "trial" version and it probably has expired.

BTW- I see no noise in either of the posted screenshots. As already mentioned you need to use 1:1 Zoom View when adjusting AND reviewing images for Sharpening and Noise Reduction.
