Not a problem

Lightroom Classic: Preferences in French much too wide for minimally required screen resolution

The Preferences window in French / LR 9.4 / Mac OS is 1404 pixels wide, much wider than the minimally required 1024. This puts a number of buttons off-screen.  As a painful workaround, it is possible to drag the window left and right to get to the buttons.

On the computer I was working on, it was covering the whole screen and made it really difficult to be sure which sync folder I was choosing. I also at first didn't understand how to "get out" of it, as it didn't look like a "superimposed" window one was supposed to click closed.

John,

The display requirements for Lightroom changed with today's update.
https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/system-requirements.html

1024x768 is no longer the minimum recommendation for LrC 10 and beyond.

That help page says the "Minimum" is 1024 x 768, while the "Recommended" is 1920 (the Preferences windows is 1404).  Since it's still possible to use Preferences in French by dragging the windows back and forth, I'm guessing that this issue should be closed as "not planned" -- I'll do that.
