Lightroom Classic: Pick up flag shown on bottom list of photos when mouse hover
Created a collection of photos (just manual selection) and those photos were flagged as picked up (white flag), when I select a photo in bottom row of thumbnails and hit U to unflag, the correct message appears on screen about unflagging but on the thunbnail photo still appears that white flag and dissapears once mouse is moved away. But when mouse is over this image again (not clicking, just moved cursor to thumbnail, flag is back.
For Reject (black) flag there is no issue.
Using Lightroom Classic version: 8.4 [ 201908011719-03751b60 ]

Everything works normally when the filmstrip is larger. The image has no flags and hovering over it in the filmstrip shows an empty flag indicator in the upper left corner of the cell. But if the filmstrip is smaller, the white pick flag appears in the cell when you hover over it.
This happens for all images that do not have a flag set. Images with a pick or reject flag set show the flag correctly regardless of the size of the filmstrip and do not change when hovered over.

I can duplicate this behavior 100% of the time on 8.4 and MacOS 10.14.6. All you have to do is reduce the filmstrip size until the flag changes from a large flag to a small flag. I don't even have to hover. If I drag the cursor over the thumbnails the flag will change at random thumbnails. Most of the time they will turn off when I move the cursor off the thumbnail but sometimes the flag gets cosmetically stuck but will get fixed on the next pass. Good catch.

Is there a way to turn the mouse-over flag appearing off alltogether?(apart from increasing the film strip size) since even when it works normally, now it looks like every photo you hover the mouse over has a flag and it's weirdly confusing.
Thanks in advance!

Its easy to reproduce. Just drag the cursor over the thumbnails in the filmstrip. When the Thumbnails and Flag are large the flags get stuck in Gray and when the Thumbnails and Flags are small they get stuck in White. This is an additional issue. When they are small and unflagged they should highlight in Gray on cursor hover instead of White as it is confusing to the user. I have a video I could send to you by PM if you want as I don't use any of your video upload sites.
