Lightroom Classic: Performance issues with Nvidia Driver 416.16

Has anyone else also seen an enormous performance drop after installing the Nvidia Graphics Driver 416.16? My system slowed to a crawl (library/grid view was so laggy, LR became unusable) whereas I had to rollback to 411.xx. Some major issues there...

@jbedford -- Did you perceive issue after rolling back? We will report this issue internally.

The performance lag ceased after rolling back to 411.xx - I repeated the installation to 416.16 twice just to be sure. Same performance lag both times and no performance issues after twice rolling back.

I haven't noticed any performance issues running 416.16, but 416.34 was released yesterday, so you may want to give that a try.

I didn’t realize they realesed another driver already - I downloaded and installed whatever was directly available through GEForce Experience application as of 5pm EST yesterday and experienced the same slowdown as the driver the day before (416.16)

I don't use the GEForce Experience app, so I'm not sure what you're getting from that.  I just download directly from https://www.geforce.com/drivers.  416.34 shows up there as the latest release available.

That app pushes the latest drivers as soon as they’re available, so I probably downloaded 416.34 in addition to 416.16

Hi, I also encountered problems with Lightroom whilst using the nvidia geforce 416.34 driver. I am using an Asus ROG i7 (4th gen) with 16gb RAM and 2 hard drives (1 default of 1 tb and one SSD Samsung EVO 860 on M.2 connector - both are SATA). All the programs are installed on SSD, same as windows 10.

BUT....i don't have issues using Photoshop. And lightroom before was slow only when exporting. Now...i tried to clone some skin imperfections and OMG, took 10 sec to sample a clean area. I wasted 20 minutes to fix 5 red spots on skin (which would take 5 min in photoshop) but the amount of pics i need to edit is quite large (around 200).

Also, on gaming side, after installing the new Nvidia driver i had 100 fps while playing League of Legends but then the second game made me crazy with only 20-24 fps. I am desperate. I think i will throw my laptop away. I did changed the Nvidia settings to use on global max performance but i don't see any difference.
