Lightroom Classic: no longer works with my F drive
I am stumped on this one. I asked in the forums and could get the lock removed to regain access.
I can delete the lock file but it still will not use my F drive for photos as Lightroom will. LRc will not use the F drive any longer where my photos are.
I have to delete that file every time I exit to get LRc to open but it still will not work with that drive, it used to just fine.
Help???

Unless this drive is shared on a network, there shouldn't be a lock file. BTW, this is a Windows question for which you'll get better answers on Microsoft's Windows forum.

What lock file are you referring to exactly? I don't know about Windows (or Lightroom) using a lock-file for some kind of drive-access.

Bill,
So the Lightroom app uses the F drive just fine, the Classic is the problem.
Windows Photos works with the drive just fine.
Classic was working before but not now and I really don't want to have to import from another program, whats the point of using a program that won't import?
