You're going to have to be far more specific if you want help as the statement makes no sense as presented.

All functions related to the color settings no longer work since the update to 7.3. Also the Presets can no longer be activated. The error is present on the win 10 desktop as well as on the surface. In addition, the tablet mode no longer works on the surface.

The errors are independent of the camera and the file format.

Looks like you have that pane turned off. There's a little 'box' that moves up or down to do so. You can see in your screen capture above it, lower left, the little box is in the upper position so the sliders are not grayed out.

The first screenshot shows the little switch in the upper position, and other sliders are active, so I don't think that's the explanation. I assume the image is displayed in B&W? If so, check that you haven't simply selected a B&W camera profile.

I think this may be a problem I've seen in other forums too. Did you use Lightroom Classic (subscription based) before you updated? Or did you perhaps use Lightroom 6 (perpetual license)? It seems there is a strange glitch were Lightroom 6 users can install this update, but then they end up with a half-functional mixture of the two versions.

John, isn't that the HSL pane? It has it's own on/off switch and the screen capture is somewhat odd that I don't see one but the one above it (as if the two are separate which AFAIK isn't possible). A better/cleaner screen capture would be useful.

I know this switch. He has but unfortunately no function. I'm afraid the new version 7.3 has some flaws.

I use Lightrooms and Lightrooms CLassic many years. So far, all updates ran flawlessly.

What OS? No issues on this end on MacOS, maybe it's your localization? Can you try an English version just to see if that's it?

LOOK at the screen capture you just provided: Switch is in the DOWN position. OFF!

Do us a favor and click on the light gray button shown in your screen capture so it's in the UP position. See the sliders?

Andrew,
Look at the Basic block. This is not Lightroom Classic 7.3! There is no profiles section.

The way I understand it is that this is a bug, where people using Lightroom 6 can use the updater, but end up with some odd non-functional mixture of 6 and 7.

Maybe it's not, but it's clear to me from the last screen capture above that the pane is turned off. No?

No, not for the Basic pane, and if the Basic pane was indeed turned off, then ALL its sliders should have been disabled, not just the last two of them.

BTW, turning off a pane should not grey out its sliders anyway, if I'm not mistaken. I'm on the road with only my iPad, so I can't check this, but I don't recall seeing the sliders getting greyed out when I turn off a pane. Maybe you can check this.

Here's what I see. If what I see is 'correct', then the OP's not seeing the sliders because the pane is turned off.

Old settings will continue to appear and also work. They can no longer be changed and new settings are not possible. Presets can also no longer be applied.

you have to activate that tab... turn it on and you'll have access to those controls.

Just as I thought. This is not the full Lightroom Classic 7.3! You are missing the new profiles section. You were probably not using Lightroom Classic (7.2), so I repeat my question: did you use the subscription version, or the perpetual license version? I think you used the latter, and so it's a bug you could update at all.

Let's stick to the first issue that appears to be user error. Can you confirm that when the switch is in the UP position, you see the sliders? If so, maybe we can move onto the next issue.

The first issue is that the OP is not having Lightroom Classic 7.3 at all. There is no profiles section. Also see https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2474700

The log at the bottom left indicates that the color correction is active. In old pictures I can also enable and disable the corrections. The switch remains off after actuation and the functions can not be used. This is also true for dynamics, color saturation, and presets.

Log?

Look, this is getting VERY tiring. Can you, will you PLEASE try to toggle the pane's switch in the upper position as seen here:

It has two positions, UP or DOWN. Your screen capture shows it DOWN. MINE shows it UP.

Please believe me, I've clicked the upper switch a thousand times. It is also displayed in the log but it does not change the missing function.

Try uninstalling both LR6 and Classic, then reinstalling then.

I'm done here. You can't provide a screen capture that shows the switch I've asked you to toggle, even in your screen capture above. And apparently you don't even know what product you're using....
