Lightroom Classic: Keyboard shortcut to make Target collection active in the filmstrip

Create a keyboard shortcut to make the current Target collection be what is displayed in the filmstrip so you don't have to go looking for the collection with the tiny "+" and brighter text in a long string of existing collections.

Ha! I was going to suggest a shortcut, and lo and behold, the shortcut I was going to suggest is already there. Give CMD+B / Ctrl+B a try. Apparently it has been there all along, and I never ever thought to look.

The reason I hadn't run across it is because  almost everything i do is in Develop Module (and it's not in the help page there (but is in the Library Module)).    See other comment to John R. Ellis...

A good resource is Lightroom Queen's comprehensive list of all shortcuts: https://www.lightroomqueen.com/keyboard-shortcuts/

I had gone there originally.

It only refers to Show Quick Collection, doesn't mention Target collection being associated with the CTRL-B , which is really only part of the story...

Poking around just now - If you have a target collection defined and are  displaying a folder in the filmstrip - it will flip you between them, and reverse on a second ctrl-b.

If you don't have a target collection, it will show you the Quick collection, and reverse...

If you're displaying the Target collection by having clicked on it, CTRL-B will show you the Quick collection...

It's more than just "Show Quick Collection".  How to say all that in a couple words gets pretty creative ... "Show Quick/Target Collection" ????

It's a shame the product group doesn't include this full format document in the product heirarchy when they deliver it.... and they should add the things like tap vs press and hold behaviors as well, menus that change similarly when you hold other controlling keys as well... there's too much to discover by accidents and blogs - it should be with the product. IMO

Yeah, you might drop a note to Victoria Bampton (Lightroom Queen) that the description in the shortcut list could be clarified, e.g. "Show Quick / Target Collection".

So, what about the Help page inside LR ?  That's where the product should be documented best.

Agreed.  You could post a separate feature request about it.

I don't see any links about feature requests - I thought this post would turn into one that the development people would see.   Point me to where to do it ?  thx.
