Lightroom Classic: Is it possible to make more than one crop area per image?

Is it possible to create more than one crop area per image? I would be interested if this can be developed using the SDK for Lightroom and or finding a developer who could provide this.

Not on the same image file: it wouldn't make sense (as LR displays the result of the most recent crop).

As a workaround, create a virtual copy (or copies) and crop each one differently as you wish...

Thank you for your response. I was trying that but when it comes to archiving books the process is fairly labor-intensive.

Cropping is cropping. How do you imagine two crops to look like?

Maybe what you mean is Two Selection areas in one image. That is not possible in LR but it is in Photoshop.

What would be the purpose of this process.
You can make one crop, Export it under a new name and then redo the crop to the second area and then export that area with a different name.
