LIghtroom Classic: I’m having problems exporting slideshows as mp4

I see that other customers have the same issue dating back 9 months. This needs fixing!

Greetings Daisyg,

Using Lightroom Classic 8.1, I had no issue creating a 1080p MP4 slideshow. Can you provide additional information?

OS?
Computer Spec?
Lightroom Version?
Number of slides?
Orientation of images in slides?
Music?
Music file format?
[Export Video...] settings?

I’m using a new MacBook Pro with the latest OS. Lightroom is also up to date. Slides count is 60. Orientation of images are landscape and portrait, no music . 1080p

I found that if you edit pictures or slideshow then create the video, it gets stuck. To be successful I reboot the machine, reopen Lightroom and if I create the video straight away it completes in less than 5 minutes.

Lightroom Classic 8.2 was released yesterday. Go to Help>System Info... and verify you have that version installed. If not, please update.

Have same problem. Windows 10 (October). LR 8.2 classic, 75 edited slides of all orientations. Video stuck both with and without music and in all sizes. PDF files exports correctly.
Any idea why?

Try closing everything, reboot machine then create slideshow. This was my work around until Adobe fixed the problem.

Tried rebooting, generating 1:1 preview, and few other suggestion found on internet several times, to no help. What worked at the end - exported all images as jpeg's, Re-imported them back and same slideshow worked, likely some random edit did not worked (it still exported pdf or jpg's well).

Shame on Adobe for no QA on software - looks like slideshow module is broken in some way almost in every version for several years already!
