Lightroom Classic: Fuji xpro 2 not found in import with Catalina macOS

Since upgrading to Catalina, LR no longer recognizes Fuji Xpro 2 camera for import

At the bottom of the Folders panel, do you see the memory card listed there? If so, the temporary workaround is to select the photos from there.

Dear Victoria, Thank you for your reply. However, since installing Mac OS Catalina, Fuji X Pro 2 (or it's memory card) is not found at all, even though the USB icon is visible on the camera screen. Serge.

If you visit the macOS Image Capture app (in Applications), does that see the camera ok?

As a temporary workaround, you could use a card reader.

Try using a card reader instead of connecting the camera to the computer.

Most likely this is not a Lightroom problem but a MacOS / Fujifilm problem. The camera may not be seen at all (so Image Capture would also not see it). Like Victoria suggests, an option is to use a card reader rather than connecting the camera to the computer via USB. This is also quite a bit faster usually, so it's always a good idea to do that.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. I agree that an SD card-reader is the probably the better way to  proceed.
