Lightroom Classic: filter out selections by clients on shared gallery. Sort by comments, picks
when I create a collection either in LR Classic or CC and share this collection with a client via a web-link, they have the possibility to comment and choose their favorites photos. From there on, me, as the creator of the collection have no way to filter out nor sort out solely the photos they have commented on or picked. I had to check multiple times to make sure such an obvious feature isn't hidden somewhere. but believe me, it's not. Makes the whole share-your-work-with-a-client-workflow totally ineffective. If I share a photo session with 100 plus pics with a client and give them the possibility to participate and comment, I have a ton of work afterwards to try and isolate the photos they have chosen. Please add this feature

Yes, I agree. Even being able to display the file name on the image would be a help. That info is not that obvious to find if your not a regular user. Just had an order in today they screen shot them and emailed them to me. Usually what happens is you are on the phone going yes it the third row down four across , of course that depends on the size, type and orientation of device they are viewing it on.
Could be such a useful feature but not quite there yet.

Agreed it could be made easier via LRC and LR mobile. At the moment (I'm on LRC 8.4.1 - no idea if it's been since improved), I can sort photos in synced Collections by Last Comment Time. This puts the ones that any client commented upon (and I think picked/liked) to the top or bottom of the display list in LRC's Library Module's main photo display matrix.
NOTE: This Sort option only appeared in synced Collections, not in unsynced Collections nor in the synced collections' underlying Folders. So, if you're viewing the photos via the Folders section on the left side panel, go to their location in the Collections section.
It would be better if we could create a search Library Filter at the top or click on a button next to the Comments metadata section on the right side panel to show only those which have been 'touched' by the clients:

"NOTE: This Sort option only appeared in synced Collections, not in unsynced Collections nor in the synced collections' underlying Folders."
And you can only sort by Last Comment Time if exactly one synced collection is selected. If you select more than one collection, or you select a collection set, you can't sort.
Silly restriction of a half-baked feature.

Also, LR Classic will display a yellow badge on collections and thumbnails that have new comments and likes:

Though there have been persistent reports that the badges are fleeting and easy to miss.

"it seems to be showing the "picked" photos right after the commented one, but I'm not entirely sure since there's no layout view available that shows that kind of info atop a photo in the library view (in LR classic)."
The Comments panel in the lower-right of LR Classic's Library mode shows the comments and likes of a photo:
https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/share-comment-feedback-collaborate.html#notificationsandcomments
So you can look at that panel to distinguish new comments from new likes.

If you are facing lots of comments and likes across multiple collections simultaneously, you could consider the Any Comment plugin, which provides more powerful facilities for filtering, searching, and sorting comments and likes. LR restrictions make it a tad inconvenient to use.

I will add, as I have said many times before, that there is also no way to add original file numbers to watermarks. This is the easiest way for clients to identify the shots they want as opposed to the usual, "I like the 2nd, 3rd and 6th pictures."

I just figured out how to see what the clients have picked!! I’m in Lightroom mobile classic on my iPad. Go to the … then click on view options. Then select activity. Then go back to your gallery view. You should see the activity icon on each photo that the client picked!
