Lightroom Classic: Export very slow
the export in lightroom since version 4.0 is very slow.
i just wanted to save time and bought a new high end pc. no effect - the export is as slow as on my 2 years old medium end pc. i tried every performance tip - nothing worked.
i could see that 9 files are exported at the same time. the files are created ... then nothing happens for a long of time (only cpu is on 100%).. after a while the files appear.
this happens on 4 windows pcs - no matter if intel or amd.
it ́s very frustrating if you buy a new to save time at work and nothing happends.
sadly if this does not change i will have to switch to capture one...
without hardware acceleration it was 50% faster than with lr
with hardware acceleration it was about 95% faster than with lr (45 seconds vs. 9 minutes)
i gonna invite any developer to take a look at my mashine via teamviewer and deliver beer if this is finally solved

I’ve tried everything listed in this thread. Photoshop even runs well. It’s insane how bad the performance of this program is.

I also have noticed that the mouse and keyboard will freeze frequently.

So i'm having a similar issue when exporting my whole computer gets bogged down, I can't use any other apps while exporting is in progress. This just started happening earlier this year, pretty sure with the latest upgrade. The export itself doesn't seem to take too much longer than I remember, I just can't do anything while it's happening. Screen shot of computer specs attached. I do work on a 4 Bay Raid 0 external drive, using Softraid 5.8.3, with plenty of space to spare. And again, I did this all last year without issue, I could even export 2 or 3 jobs at the same time, from within the same catalogue, without issue (other than when 1 job is exporting, your filter for another job in the same catalogue is turned off so you have to be quick with your selection for exporting 2nd job).

Same, no reason based on all of my hardware and settings for it to take ~2 hours to export ~2k 53MB NEF images to full jpeg. I do time-lapses for those asking, "whyyyyy." Yes I've reset everything per the instructions and even working from recently re-installed Windows 10.
2009 53MB NEF files exported to full jpg
Started job at 3:09pm PDT, completed 4:56pm PDT; 1h47m to complete on this hardware, why?
