Lightroom Classic: Export images and still keep directory structure

I know that this has been a requested feature for at least 6 years, but how hard can it be to allow Lightroom users to export a complete directory of images and still retain the existing directory structure. I store images from an event in subdirectories, such as Topshots, sponsor images, winning athletes etc. Lightroom makes me export each directory individually if I want to keep them separate. This seems so illogical and is such a time waster. I can't understand how the developers still haven't had a  massive 'lightbulb moment' about this.

Just in case you're not already aware of them, there are a few plug-ins out there that can help. LR/TreeExporter springs to mind, but there's a few variations.

Thanks Victoria
I use TreeExpoter already, but find it very clumsy, and would prefer an in-house solution.

The same here, I use TreeExporter but would mach prefer a native solution in Lightroom.

I experimented with TreeExporter as well but it choked with too many photos and ended up just freezing or something along those lines. The end result is that it didn't work.

During export in the Export Location box I would like a radio check box with the option to "Keep Recursive Subfolders"!!!! PLEASE, PLEASE!
