Lightroom Classic: Edit in Photoshop no longer asks for my choices - Original or with Lr edits

As the title says, it seems that suddenly, when I choose to edit an image from Lr Classic in Photoshop I no longer get the dialog box that asks if I want the Original, Copy or Copy with Lr Edits. It seems to just open with the edits.

What is going on? How do I fix this?

As Sam said, raw files open directly. TIFF, JPEG, or PSDs offer the dialog window. This page describes the process:

So you're sure the image selected has LR edits? Does this happen with all selected images (raws and otherwise) or just one/ a few?
Can't hurt, try resetting your preferences:

It's been my experience that when sending raw images from LR to PS, LR does not give those options. Only when sending non-raw images (e.g., JPEG, TIFF) does LR ask the "Original, Copy with Edits, Copy" question. Other externals editors such as Topaz Studio always present the dialog but with those editors you'll notice that the "Edit a Copy" and "Edit Original" are grayed out when the source is a raw file.

I always convert to DNGs on import to LR and when selecting to edit in PS (with or without any changes in LR) it USED to ask me what I wanted to do.  However, going back several updates it no longer does.  I can't remember ever selecting a JPG, TIFF or PSD to edit in PS.  I'm on Windows 10

I guess I didn't notice when it changed. Thanks.

I think there is a valid use case for opening a raw file without Develop edits in Photoshop but I guess you'd have to make a virtual copy, remove the edits and then open.

Hi  bit of an odd one, but my LRC will no longer allow an edited RAW file (edited direct in LRC) to be opened in PS with the " edit copy with LR adjustments" function, it just opens the unedited RAW file direct into PS, it only seems to work on Jpegs and Tiffs, is this new?  I thought it did it with RAW files as well.

LRC v9.4

PS v22
