Lightroom Classic: Crashes as soon as I open Develop Module

My Lightroom has started crashing as soon as I go into Develop Module.
Lightroom started crashing yesterday after doing some external editing in PS CC 2018 and returning to the develop module the image just didn't show in the window. After a while Lightroom just gave me a notice that a crash report had been generated - this repeated itself several times - and as the problem continued today, I decided to update to Classic CC 8.0 - that didn't help. I've also installed a new Graphics card.....
Lightroom works fine in all other modules BUT the Develop Module....

I just tried that - and now it seems that I can't use any of the modules...
Lightroom opens and then tells me that a crash report has been generated and then shuts down.

Win 10 - and reinstall done - but now my PS CC 2018 is also crashing....
I'm tearing my hair out by now!
Is it an Adobe-bug or is it my computer?
Right now I'm backing my whole computer up and might do a factory reset of my computer later today and then reinstall everything from scratch and hope that'll do the trick!
My goodness....had hoped for an easier fix :-/

It's your computer.

This has been going on for overt a year. It is only in LR CC classic. I found out I can restart LR Cc Classic and go right to Develop and it converts right up. It is a royal pain. I think ADOBE just wants us tho all dump Classic. I am thinking about getting rid of CC. I belong to a large Camera Club ... we are checking out other software. I don't have tobe to do portraits and my big detailed sports images in PS all the tone.
If someone knows of a real fix that will help. It happens on all 4 of my computers and they all run high end everything on Quad core i7, built for photography !

This is all sounding very much graphics card driver related Denise. Which graphics card and driver version are you using?
