Lightroom Classic CC: Improve Maps Module
The Maps module in Lightroom Classic latest versions seems little changed from the first introduction years ago. It is slow and clunky. Why is there no support for gestures? I cannot zoom in and out using my trackpad as I can easily do using Google maps. Please update it to be of more use. Also, the row of thumbnails below are too small to easily see features to help identify the location. How about an image pop-up function when you hover the cursor over the row of images at the bottom for, say, 2 seconds? I have resorted to using ANOTHER APP in the background in conjunction to look at the image enlarged briefly then flip back to Lightroom.

Have you made the filmstrip taller by dragging the divider?

I have also noticed that the preview will sometimes forget it's last position and reopen again in the center of the screen when you toggle it on/off but not quite sure what causes it.

(right click it to change options/left click to enable/disable)
Hopefully this serves as a decent workaround for you.
